AK Dozanti
AK began a career in law enforcement at just 19, working undercover online investigations. By 20, AK completed the academy and took on the role of Deputy Sheriff, quickly advancing through responsibilities in court security, prison transport, patrol, and marine patrol. Named Officer of the Year in 2015, AK projected a life of confidence, strength, and success. Beneath the surface, however, AK was grappling with unprocessed trauma and emotional challenges that impacted work and personal life.
After confronting severe depression, PTSD, and adrenal fatigue, AK chose to prioritize personal healing, which led to a transformative journey in wellness. Returning to yoga and studying trauma, AK delved into somatic practices, IFS, crisis intervention, and other healing techniques, uncovering the pervasive effects of trauma on both victims and first responders. Inspired, AK founded Life Saver Wellness to support first responders in managing chronic stress and trauma. Today, AK coaches, trains, and speaks nationwide, empowering first responders with body-focused strategies to sustain mental and physical resilience in their demanding roles.
