The emcee this year is a lovable, goofy, functional idiot whose ability to always be in the right place at the right time is rivaled only by Forrest Gump. Joey is a US Navy veteran (OIF/OEF/Operation Noble Eagle).  After his service he served as weapons and tactics instructor at the Navy's CENSECFOR, learning site Ford Island. Leaving Hawaii behind, Joey started a career in law enforcement and worked at Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Arapahoe Community College PD, and Thornton PD. As police, Joey worked in multiple capacities from patrol, IMPACT, bike cop, field supervisor, negotiations and SWAT. In 2020, he relocated to Massachusetts with his wife and started franchising Liberty Tax Services offices, and started a bookkeeping and payroll company. He is happily married to his partner in crime, Jennifer and together they have four amazing kiddos! Joey is on the board of IACF serving as the treasurer, resident comic relief, and tax nerd.
